With competition from onlline opticians these are under pressure. I had my eyes etsted but the were very difficult abotu just giving me my prescription (I said i was on a meter and had no time to pick any frames) I ordered online from Spexmanaic http://www.specmaniac.co.uk there are plenty of other online suppliers you can choose from. My glasses were 25 quid and arrived within 14 days - no complaints Jen52

i would only use specsavers if i couldnt afford a dearer optician. the glasses are just of the shelf its only luck if they fit. they dont measure you at all. i am not even convinced that the eye test was much good. unless my eyes had changed a year later!
